eOn Communications, Indyme Electronics form Strategic Partnership

Atlanta, Ga., November 9, 2000 - eOn Communications Corporation(TM) (Nasdaq: EONC), a leading provider of unified voice, e-mail and Internet communications systems, has announced a strategic OEM agreement with Indyme Electronics, Inc.(TM), a worldwide communications solutions provider.

The multi-year OEM agreement links eOn with Indyme's Retail Systems Group, a provider of customer service and productivity solutions in the retail and commercial market segments. Indyme will integrate eOn's Linux(TM)-based platform technology with their own advanced voice and data communications applications for the clients of the Retail Systems Group.
